For newspapers, this recession is extremely bad as advertising revenues are way down. But it seems to me that newspapers were already going the way of the horse and buggy, and the recession will only quicken their demise.
 
This is sad news indeed. I love reading the newspaper, I always have since I was a little girl. My dad got the morning and evening edition of our towns newspaper, and I would always read them after he got done with them.

My 13 yo daughter wants to major in journalism. She asked me if their would be any newspapers left by the time she graduates college.
 
Internet killed the Newspaper Star.

The future will hold a place where news websites will charge a certain amount for you to access their websites in order to see the news.

Ironically, very much like porn sites who have already mastered the art of that. :eusa_eh:
