Actually the fake outrage about Rush and the president using his power to criticize a citizen will probably backfire on democrats big time. First of all, people are well aware of the motivation behind the hate Rush campaign and they ain't buyin it. The second thing like you say is that the fake outrage eclipsed the GOP food fight for the nomination. The third thing is that Rush is pissed and motivated as never before. It's a win win for republicans.
