Seems to be a merely a reasonable response to the politicization of the topic by the deniers. Are we supposed to stand by and get kicked around on the poltical front, just because the deniers have lost the scientific battle and decided to take the fight to a different venue?

Good for Dr. Moto. The people at OISM are certified kooks. And the Oregon Petition Project has been shown to be fraudulent from the git-go.

Yes, since the policy in response to the verified warming has to be through political channels, it is time to go political. The science has been vindicated beyond a reasonable doubt, the National Academy of Sciences has stated that unequivicolly.

If the Repubs wish to run on that, as well as "Drill, baby, Drill", they are welcome to it. And in November, the people of that district in Oregon will return Peter DeFazio to the House.
