How Giving Up TV For A Month Changed My Brain And My Life

Watching a couple hours of TV a day can have major effects on your brain. So what would happen if you quit cold turkey?

I always have the TV on- I watch it sporadically.

Mine is on only a few hours a week when I am catching up on DVR'd shows. I don't even have it as background noise anymore. I mostly hang out in the den and the TV there doesn't get anything since a community cat I let in in a storm pissed all over the direct tv box about a month ago. I haven't quite figured out how I am going to get a new one without saying the cat pissed all over the existing one.
