Actually, for the Jewish position on torture, see: Alan Dershowitz, who advocates it... on Muslims, of course. I'm sure he'd throw in white nationalists, too. What'd the rabbi say? A thousand Arab lives are not worth one Jewish fingernail? Something like that.

The point of the post is that liberal Jews are willing to overlook a position they might otherwise dislike, when it's advocated by 1) a co-ethnic 2) in the pursuit of a project seen as overall good for Jews, i.e., the 'war on terror.'

The Senate's Judiciary Committee has SIX out of NINETEEN members who are Jews:

That's about a THIRD, or just less than 33 percent, for a population that's always telling us it's only 2 percent of the U.S. population. That's disproportionate and undemocratic.

The percentage is likely worse for the entirety of the U.S. Congress. Jews are the first to wag fingers at white gentiles for being "overrepresented" in college, companies, etc. I'm not holding my breath for them to take stock of their own situation. Nor, sadly, am I holding my breath for most white gentiles to get a clue about this.
