You can Sync your favorites through Firefox itself.

Or use Xmarks to share your bookmarks anywhere.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSugLkDyIrQ]How I use Xmarks.com to sync and backup my bookmarks (favorites) - YouTube[/ame]

Or, if you insist, you can borrow a time machine and burn them to a CD.

Email them to yourself at a webmail provider, Google, Yahoo or Hotmail AOL etc.
    FF.
    Click BOOKMARKS
    Click Organize
    Click Import and backup
    Click Export HTML.
    Export to Desktop.

These directions vary a little bit from version to version.
Fire up your Email and send it (html file on the desktop) to all of your web based addresses.

Yes, at the top of the page. Left click. Once.
I have FireFox so I had to chose "Show All Bookmarks" but everything after works fine. Then send an e-mail to your own address (it does work) with the favorites file as an attachment so you can retrieve it later.
