How bad is the Real Estate market and Where?

Real Estate Indices are indicating a weak national market. Texas is still rebuilding and here in FL real estate ads are on TV selling multi-million dollar properties. Greater Atlanta and AL are both booming. So, I have to ask how bad are things in the Blue Wall?
