How Bad Could 2010 Really Get For Democrats?

It's gonna be a democrat landslide in November and I hope when it does happen you ignorant repugs will finally shut the f-ck up!

Put down the bong, son...

You don't happen to believe Kerry won Ohio based upon exit polls, do you?

Just checkin....

Dude, do you still have those Diebold D2R Machines, you know the ones that flipped Dem votes to Republican? I need them for a local election

If you have the older machines you just need the new software... I'll send it to you on a flash drive...

HA HA HA HA

'rock solid'

You have to have rocks in your head to think the economy is in good shape.

And it is looking good in november...for anyone running against a Democrat.

I think it's sad how republicans have to hope that the economy and the country take a turn for the worse all so they can gain politically in NOV.

As opposed to the Democrats who never demagogued the economy during the last election, right?
In any case, the economy doesn't need to get worse. If it stays the same it will still suck, costing the Dems the election. We are two years into this recession. It should have been over in 9 months. The sole reason it lasted this long is Obama's policies.

So you think it's good that republicans are hoping for the coutry to get worse or just stay the same if it allows republicans to gain politically?? Is that what you are saying? I only ask because instead of addressing the problem you seem to be making excuses for it.

Oh and care to explain how obama's policies made it worse when most economists that I have seen or heard talking about it have stated that his policies actually prevented it from getting worse?? Do you have anything REAL to back up your claims or is this the usual unsubstantiated spin??

I actually think it will be about average for a midterm. Dems will lose some seats but poll numbers don't mean anything when you have a large portion of republicans who abandoned ship when W became a lame duck and who are now pretending to be independents.

Oh and no even if they lose they won't shut up. They seem to believe that they are justified in everything they do no matter how far it runs contrary to their previously held beliefs. The engage in tactics that they once called unconstitutional, un-Amerincan and unpatriotic all because they lost the elcetion and ended up in the minority. If they lose they will still act and feel justified because as usual with them the ends justify the means and party before country and constitution.

Not a 'repug' son.

But I can see you are a lover of corruption and big government.

It must be painful to watch how quickly the Democrats lost all that support they had built in 2008.

If you choose to vote the current batch of conservative/republicans back into power then you too are a lover of corruption and big government. Oh snap! LOL

I don't think overall support has been lost. IMO the polls are skewed based on my belief that a lot of hyper partisan republicans are now calling themselves independents and that tends to influence and slant the polls. But then this coming election is not really a national test of that hypothesis. It is well know that in midterms only the most active voters participate and that usually tends to favor the party out of power and that favors republicans.

The problem is OClueless and his socialist/communist policies.

In his effort to micromanage banks, he made them scared shitless to loan out of money. As a result businesses can't get credit or loans.

What needs to be done is that the Obama regime needs to be stopped.

It is certainly possible that Republicans could gain control of the House, however most analyst do not think it is likely. Control of the Senate is very unlikely. Although I am a Democrat and do not support most of the Republican agenda, Republican control of the House could be the best outcome for the country. A Republican controlled House would force the two parties to work together. The Republican party could no longer be the party of no. They would have to produce legislation and negotiate with the Senate to get it passed. Democrats could no longer push legislation through, which would go a long way toward healing some of the political wounds of the past.

The Healthcare bill is in need of a number of changes which the Democrats are not going to do unless under pressure. The Bush tax cuts are going to expire this year. Changes to the tax laws must be made and this above all needs bi-partisan support.

Yeah riiiiight. LOL Thanks for the OPINION but you are little light on the substance. BTW if obama was micromanaging the banks then how were the banks afraid to loan out money when based on your spin it would have been obama's choice because he would have bene in charge?? LOL

LOL Way to counter your own spin.

Republicans are not hoping for this. But it is obviously what is going to happen. The economy cannot recover fast enough by Nov to make everyone forget how bad it is.
Who are the economists you have seen saying that? Lawrence Summers. Take a look at today's WSJ editorial and letter page where Summers basically lies about what he had written in an academic paper that contradicts administraiton policy.
These people are shameless political exploiters.

Good ole gloom and doom Rabbi praying for an economic collapse to save his pathetic party.

The economy HAS recovered at an unprecidented rate. So much so that een the Rabbi himself is claiming "It would have recovered without any help"

Playing both sides of the fence now Mr Rabbi???

Oh so they aren't hoping for it to fail they just hope to benefit from it as they are talking it down and refuse to act to actually do anything about it. Does that sum it up?

BTW I am still waiting on you to explain how obama's policies made it worse? You claimed it did so i asked you for specifics to support your argument but I noticed how you avoided commenting or providing proof to substantiate your claims.

The funny thing about life is that we learn that all of the corny old sayings we heard as kids really are true. And one of them is to never count your chickens before they're hatched.

I fear the right wing is going to have a lot of empty shells in November.
