House to pass bill with tax on Millionaires and Billionaires

And can you explain what is wrong with planned deficits? As far as I know the deficits will shrink enough to become sustainable under any scenario.

there is no such thing as a sustained deficit. It's never wise to continually owe money.

no we don't need taxes, we need to stop fucking spending and stop with the wasting.

Great plan! But can you elaborate on that? For example, should we stop fucking spending on defense? How about FDA? Veteran pensions? Anything specific?

The right are a bunch of pussies. I would rather the rich pay more than the middle class or poor. Good. God bless America and god bless president obama.

How is it well played to give them what they want?

You want to play it well? pass a bill that keeps taxes the same for everyone. Then let the Senate and/or the President tell the American people they are going to raise taxes on everyone.

The point is the rich should pay thier fair share, thank god its going to happen.

Oh really? I am confident next year, if this passes, youll still be whining that the rich aren't paying their fair share. Why? Because there is no defined "fair share". It's a political tactic you use to dishonestly divide people based on income. And you are freaking evil for using it.

If you gave a damn about fairness, everyone would be taxed at the same rate. But you don't care about fairness. You care about preventing people you percieve as "lower" class from ever earning their way up to the "upper" class and challenging the power of politicians. Either that or you're a useful idiot supporting them.

So please don't pretend that making one group of people pay higher taxes is somehow fair.

Unless you can explain why any those programs is unnecessary, them being "broke" could only mean that we should rise taxes to fund them properly.

Ilia your dealing with people who are low IQ and easily tricked into voting and accepting policy that hurts them.

I don't think low IQ fully explains what is going on here. I see symptoms of dublethink, when a person holds true two mutually contradicting beliefs.

I find it fascinating how they react when you point out the contradictions. Even though most of the times they simply start swearing at you :)

No. Low IQ doesn't fully explain you and your friends. Laziness, idleness, and willful ignorance of the facts, now that might.

Obama said he would VETO the bill making millionaires and billionaires pay higher taxes.

there is no such thing as a sustained deficit.

Yes, there is. As long as the economy is growing faster than the debt, the debt load decreases. Currently any deficits less that 300 billions are sustainable.

It's never wise to continually owe money.

Why? The government has continually growing revenues, why it can't always owe money?

Do you mind telling me what program the government spends too much on?

All of them

OK, so you think the Social Security checks are to large. By how much?

Social security shouldn't exist. It's a ponzi scheme. a lie that's been continually pushed on the people by politicians who sell out our children and grandchildren for a vote.

There is no money for social security. The money they claimed to have locked away for it, they spent decades ago. Until you stop lying to the people and start being honest with them, we will eventually run off a cliff where the seniors will not have any money coming to them. That's probably why government will likely do everything in their power to prevent seniors from getting the health care they need. Rationing of care is the only way to take care of costs.

If you want to live, don't rely on the government. Generate your own cash flow.

No, the government does not have a spending problem. It spends the bare minimum. That is why Republicans refuse to specify what programs they propose to cut, and how exactly.
$3 trillion a year is now a "bare minimum" to these Marxist kooks.....Wow!

ok ODD, I will bite, whats the bare minimum?

They never going to answer that. Nor can they propose any specific cuts. That is typical doublethink -- believing that the government spends too much, and being unable to point out any specific example.

And passing this bill and raising taxes on people will ensure the economy slows even more. That's what tax increases always do.

Because revenues don't always increase. and when you owe debt, it's very easy for interest to outpace revenues indefinitely. Which is why we need to cut the damn spending.

In other words, you think that the government should completely eliminate Social Security?

The best outcome of the tax the wealthy plan is that the wealthy pay 40% of taxes. When they leave not only will the government not get the increase but lose the taxes they werre getting leaving the despot with less than he started with.

Raise those taxes you fool. Raise them real high.

tell me did they leave when taxes were at 70% during the new deal? NO. so shut the fuck up you hack.

When the tax rate was 70%, there were dozens of deductions that the rich took advantage of and NOBODY but a fool paid that rate.

It was not the deductions -- you always pay less than top marginal tax rate, by definitions.
But many people had paid an effective rate of 70% in 50s -- when marginal taxes were at 90%.

Dishonest hack. We propose cuts all the time.

Let's cut the department of energy. They don't do anything.
Let's cut the department of education. It's the states' responsibility to manage education since the Constitution says nothing about it.
Let's cut the department of labor - again, state issue.
Let's cut the department of homeland security - we existed fine for over 200 years without it. It's not necessary.
Let's slash the military budget and start using the money their wisely. There is no reason we can't improve our military, give everyone a raise and eliminate the waste in the DoD.
Let's cut the SEC - Clearly if the employees are spending their time looking at porn on office computers, their positions aren't that important. We can clearly regulate business much better without them.
Let's cut the TSA. There is no reason the government needs to run the TSA.
How about cut the GSA altogether. Do they really need to be going to Hawaii on taxpayer expense?

That's just the obvious stuff. You have to be a completel moron to believe that we are spending the bare minimum that we can afford. Especially since four years ago, we weren't spending nearly that much. Heck, if you just take spending back to 2001 levels, we would be opperating on a surplus. Are you seriously saying we couldn't get by on what we were spending for government just 12 years ago?

I think government should get the heck out of our lives. Stop lying to the people. Stop robbing the people. And leave us alone. We can take care of ourselves.

They always increase over a long term (10+ years).

Only if we owe too much. Which we don't.

Every hear of the Ryan Budget?

Certainly, you did.

You used it like a weapon to attack all the proposed cuts you didn't like.

Lying sack of humanity.

OK, I got it. Unfortunately for you, the US is still a democracy, and majority of Americans believes in welfare state.

Blow me, commie scum.

I've posted lists of my favored specific cuts, which include big time cuts to Pentagon spending, so may times on this forum that it's not even funny.

You're just a fucking dishonest Marxist hack...Which itself is redundant.
