House passes keystone pipeline construction

House passes highway bill, Keystone OK included | Fox News

It passed with some dems voting in favor
This tar sands will be shipped overseas also, there is no use in hiding that
Jobs being created from this event is the key along with additional extraction of the product along the pipe-line

Without even reading you link, with respect how does he know this would effect the price of fuel in a negative way?
By creating jobs? adding to our tax base?

I'd like to know the Democrats that voted for it. Hope they are in my state. They will have my vote.

I see so you want to vote for congressmen who vote to increase gas prices; and to put in danger millions of peoples drinking water due to oil spills.

Currently the oil/gas is stuck in the Midwest resulting in excess supply in that area which results in lower gas prices. Building the pipeline means that gas is sent to China.
Furthermore the only 2 independent studies on the pipeline found that it would be a net negative for the economy and jobs due to pollution, oil spills and increased gas prices in the Midwest

Because of the study done by the Canadian oil company. how? it would would allow the Canadians to sell their oil for a higher price on the world market and stop the discount of oil to midwest states. And the jobs at best would be temporary and may not even go to Americans.

Truth seeker there are 20-30,000 working in port author Texas preparing the refineries there to receive that very oil, as we speak

I know I just left there and without not sure what I would have done the last 2 years
The pipe, the structures, the new flares, etc.., has created at-least that many jobs (some of that stuff did come from over seas, keeps fuel under 5.00 a gallon)

Once the product is allowed to be shipped there, the number of people working at Motiva will double as the size of the refinery has doubled
That work is scheduled for years more before completion, as is the Total refinery. There are others

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...2PCeBQ&usg=AFQjCNE9aSAbEPUxY-9-LM-RLlf5Vx_evA
These are 2 of the biggest

Now those jobs are going to become permanent for some as well as this 4 billion dollar project in Sabine pass, right down the road, to receive oil from over seas and to export the product not used at the local refineries
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...zq3-BA&usg=AFQjCNFvPWNW62yWUwOLdQvOrg5Uh_w37Q

there has been no less than 50,000 jobs added all ready, these facilities will create 1000s more permanent jobs, maybe 10s of 1000s

Down line who knows how much of this kind of work is going on or is being planned? Planned work is jobs
Material
Equipment

If we would allow the construction of new refineries, this kind of work could be generated from Canada to Texas

So the jobs claim has all ready began, in fact Total is about complete as well as one huge exporting and receiving facility in Sabin Pass

Now as far as the price going up, that product is already being shipped on the open market, just not in the US. It should help our pricing as I have said 2 of the largest refineries in this country have doubled in size to receive this product

I have not looked into the refinery side of the equation but 20-30 thousand jobs seem awful optimistic. In the study put out by TransCanada they estimate the pipeline will raise the cost of gas in the midwest by 20 cents. And I would imagine that to be a conservative figure.

In the plants alone there has been at least 20,000 added
the trickle down from there has created 1000s as well

Admirable I suppose but silly. For all you know the dems that voted for this simply did so because they are in trouble in their district for voting with Obama 90% of the time. No dem will ever get my vote on a national level unless I know their history. Period.

GWB was the last Blue dog Dem I am aware of. I am serious
He was center right,
At times he was very liberal when it came to education as well as stimulus
Which turned out to be a good thing
