The Dems are just standing up to a $800 billion giveaway by the Republicans. When are the Republicans going to start reducing the deficit like they said they would?

Look at the voting records of this and the 110th Congress. Democrat voting in both the House and Senate is virtually monolithic.

If the Democrats were united as one over the past year, then why did it take five drafts to get health care passed, three of which were debated in just the House alone for almost a full year? It sure wasn't just the Republicans who put the kibosh on the draft bills. Educate yourself, please, or at least pay closer attention to what really goes on instead of being glued to right wing opinion pages.

And how many dems out of the 270 or so voted FOR the Obamacare Bill? Thank you.

The drafts contained additions and NO subtractions hence the over 2,500 pages of utter confusion.
The GOP had NO SAY whatsoever in the make up of Obamacare. The dems shut out the GOP every step of the way. That fact is not in dispute.
The reason why the bill took so long to get out of committee was because the dems wanted the GOP in on it. The dems were simply looking for political cover. The Dems used the MSM as a weapon against the GOP. BTW NOT ONCE did we hear a thing about bi-partisanship on the Obamacare bill.
