I actually believe that story. Go choke yourself.
That's because it was a true story.
And the funny part is, (and I guess it was because I was stunned) I'm not a racist. We lived in a complex of townhouses and there were whites, blacks, hispanics. Everyone lived there.
When the guy knocked me over and ripped the purse from me, I just got up and stood there for a moment. I really thought it was one of the neighbor kids and any moment he would laugh and bring my purse back to me. You know a kid joking around. Plus, I think I was just too stunned to realize what had happened to me.
It took me until he was almost out of sight and around the corner for me to realize "Hey! I just got mugged, by that blue hoodie bandit." (He had been in the local paper for weeks)
Then I got mad and chased him. I didn't catch him, but I did get a good look at his driver and the driver's license plate number.
I still feel pretty proud of doing that, I won't lie. It's more than what a lot of people do.
