"The survey also finds that acceptance of homosexuality is particularly widespread in countries where religion is less central in people’s lives. These are also among the richest countries in the world. In contrast, in poorer countries with high levels of religiosity, few believe homosexuality should be accepted by society."

No surprise. Absent religious reasons, there's no reason to disapprove of homosexuality.
 
American social conservatives side with the Taliban and ISIS when it comes to homosexuality.

Not entirely, Taliban has those 'dancing boys' :) In effect then, American social conservatives are worse than the Taliban on homosexual issues. :)

Of course, 10% of married "straight identifying" men are in fact exclusively homosexual.
