Homophobic men most "turned on" by gay male porn

These men were then shown three, four minute videos. One video depicted straight sex, one depicted lesbian sex and one depicted gay male sex. While this was happening, a device was attached to the male participant's penises. This device has been found to be triggered by sexual arousal, but not other types of arousal (such as nervousness, or fear - arousal often has a very different meaning in psychology than in popular usage). When viewing lesbian sex and straight sex, both the homophobic and the non-homophobic men showed increased penis circumference. For gay male sex, however, only the homophobic men showed heightened penis arousal.

Yeah. My thought is, this isn't science, it's politics. A "homophobic" man is allowing wires to be attached to his penis for a "study"? "Hey, Fred Phelps, just sit still a minute while I hook this thing up. Yup, just as I suspected. You're a flaming hypocrite!"

Right. What a crock of shit.

I'm sure the Freudian notion of "projection" isn't totally without basis. But it totally ignores the fact that most of the time, when someone goes off on something, it's because they actually do hate it.

Not because they "secretly crave it."

Freud was a Jew whose main goal was to fuck with white gentile Europeans. He succeeded in a major way. To this day, many of us believe the crazy bullshit he peddled, and it usually ends up just making us hate ourselves. Don't buy the lie, people. Read "The Ordeal of Civility" by John Cuddihy if you want some insight here.

Here ya go:

Id of the Yid

Animosity toward Gentiles played no small part. Freud, laid out on Cuddihy's couch, recalls a childhood episode that burned into him a desire to "get even" with the exclusionary enemy. Freud's father, Jacob Freud, was walking down the sidewalk in Moravia and bumped into a Gentile. "Jew! Get off the pavement!" snarled the Gentile. The elder Freud's hat was knocked into the gutter. His reaction is not to leap to the Gentile's throat, but to calmly retrieve his hat from the gutter and continue on his way. Freud, as it happens, didn't witness any of this. The recounting by his father was enough. Is it possible that this episode created Freud's fantasy that by developing "psychoanalysis," he would become the Semitic conqueror of Gentile Europe? Like Hannibal astride his elephant, he would storm Rome and exact vengeance on the hated goyim.

they were assigned to groups on the basis of their scores on the Index of Homophobia (W. W. Hudson & W. A. Ricketts, 1980).

There's an "Index of Homophobia?"

I own a pink shirt, but don't like fruity drinks or musicals: Am I homophobic?

"...but, their penises reported otherwise..."

Apparently, men with the most pronounced anti-gay sentiments were the most turned on by man-on-man gay porn.

Thoughts?

My thought is that this would make a great Avatar for you:

I own a pink shirt and like some musicals, but I don't like fruity drinks and couldn't be less interested in interior design or men's fashion.

I design pink shirts, and write musicals about fruity drinks.

Actually, the study is probably fairly accurate...which means you'd love to have sex with a black Jewish guy.

Exactly, this whole story is a Fag's fantasy.

There's the questionnaire. Don't see any questions about pink shirts on it though.

This questionnaire is deigned to measure the way you feel about working or association with homosexuals. This is not a test, so there are no wrong answers. Answer each item as carefully and accurately as you can by placing a number beside each one as follows:

1. Strongly Agree
2. Agree
3. Neutral
4. Disagree Strongly
5. Disagree
____ 1.) I would feel comfortable working closely with a gay man.
____ 2.) I would enjoy attending social functions at which queer people were present.
____ 3.) I would feel uncomfortable if I learned that my neighbor was queer.
____ 4.) If a member of my sex made a sexual advance towards me, I would
feel angry.
____ 5.) I would feel comfortable knowing I was attractive to members of my gender.
____ 6.) I would feel uncomfortable being seen in a gay bar.
____ 7.) I would feel uncomfortable if a member of my sex made an advance
towards me.
____ 8.) I would be comfortable if I found myself attracted to a member of my sex.
____ 9.) I would feel disappointed if I learned that my child was queer.
____ 10.) I would feel nervous being in a group of queers.
____ 11.) I would feel comfortable knowing that my clergy person was queer.
____ 12.) I would be upset if I learned that my sibling was queer.
____ 13.) I would feel that I had failed as a parent if I learned that my child was gay.
____ 14.) If I saw two men holding hands in public, I would feel disgusted.
____ 15.) If a member of my gender made an advance towards me, I would be
offended.
____ 16.) I would feel comfortable if I learned that my daughter’s teacher was a
lesbian.
____ 17.) I would feel uncomfortable if I learned that my spouse or partner was
attracted to a member of his/her gender.
____ 18.) I would feel at ease talking with a queer at a party.
____ 19.) I would feel uncomfortable if I learned that my boss was queer.
____ 20.) It would not bother me to walk through a predominantly gay section of town
____ 21.) It would disturb me to find out that my doctor was queer.
____ 22.) I would feel comfortable if I learned that my best friend of my gender was
queer.
____ 23.) If a member of my gender made an advance towards me, I would feel
flattered.
____ 24.) I would feel uncomfortable knowing that my son’s teacher was queer.
____ 25.) I would feel comfortable working closely with a lesbian.

I wonder how well the questionaire is designed?

Interestingly there's a pretty wide margin for those who feel neutral about Queers:

Score of 50-100 have neutral to negative feelings about queers

While I feel slightly uncomfortable about it, I wonder how their penis circumference changed whilst watching, "Hairy Biker Bear vs. Flaming Faggot Florist."
