Homeless Isaac Victim: Romney Told Me To 'Go Home And Call 211'

Sigh, yet another liberal unsubstaniate post. How about this, let's stick to facts we know to be true? Like the 8+ unemployment, the price of gasoline, and the national debt. Or maybe who runs this board could start another section for just things like what you posted. Should get a lot of unicorn posts.

Anything linked from Huff Po is a joke. The only sources the left wing nutbars use are HP Mother Jones and Media Matters.

And then they have the gall to turn around and with great disdain diss Fox News.

Should I gather that you won't be sending Associated Press a Christmas card this year? They're the ones that reported the story.

That's hilarious coming from one of the dumbest NaziCon liars on the board. BTW, the OP is based on an AP story...

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney launched the final leg of his quest for the White House by visiting storm-battered Louisiana on Friday. He drove through a town that was flooded by Hurricane Isaac in part because it's still outside the vast flooding protection system built with federal funds after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans.

Romney and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) spent close to an hour meeting with first responders and local officials. Romney shook hands with National Guardsmen outside the U.S. Post Office and talked with a local resident, Jodie Chiarello, 42, who lost her home in Isaac's flooding.

"He just told me to, um, there's assistance out there," Chiarello said of her conversation with Romney. "He said, go home and call 211." That's a public service number offered in many states.

Geez what the hell did she want him to do...Look to the heavens spread out his hands and command the flood water to recede.Or wait for help like everyone else.

yes, like the rights love of beirbert.

Let's play a little game, Moonie. We'll total up how many times progressives here cite The Huffington Post and then we'll total up how many times conservatives cite Andrew Breitbart's site. I'm predicting right now that we're going to have about a 20 to 1 ratio of HuffPo's to Breitbart's. Care to take me up on that?

HuffPo usually provides proof and sources; Breitbart just makes shit up.

HuffPo trolls every news source there is looking for negative stories about conservatives and the GOP, then edits them to make conservatives and the GOP look even worse before posting them.

So did YOU want to play the game, Lakhota? How many times do you think you've used HuffPo here in the last month? You're probably the worst offender on the board when it comes to that. It's obvious that you log onto HuffPo when you get up in the morning and immediately regurgitate whatever THEY told you onto this board...which is why I always have to smile when you launch into one of your rants about cons being brainwashed by Rush or Sean H. or Glenn Beck or Andrew Breitbart. The lack of original thought coming from you is pretty evident.

Woman following Romney's instructions as she searches for her submerged home and telephone to call 211 for government help.

I wonder what Romney will tell her, once she discovers she no longer has phone services. Send smoke signals?

"He said, go home and call 211." That's a public service number offered in many states.

Isn't that the purpose of why these emergency numbers were put in place?

Correct, so why was the lying douchebag there? How did he help anyone? Giving them a publicized telephone number? Hell, did he even offer anyone the use of HIS telephone? We already know that he told at least one woman to go home and call 211 - except her home was submerged...

So they discovered a news report from Associated Press.

Pretty sure that only Barry has the powers to stop rising tides and heal the earth, Rozman. Not sure where he was during Issac...obviously he wasn't on the job!

What is your point? Obama had no plans on visiting the hurricane ravaged areas until Romney did. What would Obama had told her?

I'm sure we'll see Barry go down, roll up his sleeves, and start helping people clean up the rubble, right?

I was curious about Romney with a guitar. A little searching and I found that Bain bought Guitar Center. I then looked around and found that people have the same opinion of working for Guitar Center that they do working for Staples, there seems to be a trend here. Maybe Romney plans to shrink government by everyone leaving in disgust.
Anyone here ever work at Guitar Center?? - Gearslutz.com

All the employees at my local Guitar Center seem to love their job. Been going to the same one for years and a lot of the same employees still work there as when I started shopping there.

This is pathetic. This is all the left has. Petty and childish attacks on Romney, while completely forgiving and ignoring the fact that Obama has achieved nothing in the private sector, and has distorted and distanced himself from his past. Sealed college records, lied about belonging to a far-left socialist party in Chicago--Obama has no record to run on. I can not wait for November.

This part seems to have been left out of the OP's first post..

On the visit from the pair of Republicans, Chiarello said, "He’s good. He’ll do the best for us. He has our best interests at heart. I thought he’d be more like a politician, but it was more understanding and caring."
