Homeless Isaac victim and Romney... the REAL story

The White House praised Romney's visit...

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, asked earlier what a private citizen like Romney can accomplish on a visit like the one he made today, said that “it’s always important to draw attention to the fact that individuals and families and business owners are profoundly affected by storms like Isaac, and that’s an important thing to do.”

Of course. They'd look like heartless fools if they acted like half the posters here, bashing the visit. Although I have no doubt that they were ticked off about the upstaging by Romney.

more proof Obama's team is slipping. In 2008, they never would have been upstaged.

Ah, I didn't realize Jindal was in charge of FEMA!

So you have no idea what the governor's job entails during an emergency. Basically everything Blanco failed to do.
Apparently Priyush's job is begging money from the evil federal government. So much for Randian self-reliance. Those welfare leeches should be ashamed to ask for help.

"He just told me to, um, there's assistance out there," Chiarello said of her conversation with Romney. "He said, go home and call 211." That's a public service number offered in many states.

Uhh, which part was taken "out of context". The part where he said, "'You didn't build that"?

So, why didn't Bobby breach the levees BEFORE all those people got flooded?

You really are Ignorant arn't you. If you knew anything you would know that when ever they have to decide to Breech a levy to save one place, it means water going somewhere else. The Rural areas out side New Orleans actually suffer worse than they normally would, Because of the Levy system.
They did it eventually which means they could have done it sooner.

Why didn't Jindal do it sooner?
Because only the USA Corp of Engineers has the qualifications to make that judgment.

The only people saying Obama was upstaged are Romney stooges....many of which hated him only a few months ago.

Damn, Jindal messed up and didn't call you and ask how long and how much was it going to rain.

you didn't bother to read the ABC story, did you, dumb ass.

oh yes, Romney helped her find a federal agency to help her, the same fed agency that Oblama sent down to help in the first place.

Also the same Federal Agency he wants to reduce in size if not get rid of all together.

From his website:

Reduce The Federal Workforce By 10 Percent Via Attrition — Savings: $4 Billion. Despite widespread layoffs in the private sector, President Obama has continued to grow the federal payrolls. The federal workforce can be reduced by 10 percent through a “1-for-2” system of attrition, thereby reducing the number of federal employees while allowing the introduction of new talent into the federal service.

Consolidate agencies and streamline processes to cut costs and improve results in everything from energy permitting to worker retraining to trade negotiation.

Spending

Amazingly he says he'll add 12 million jobs; he'll start by slicing 280,000 right off the bat.

Interesting that this time around, some libs are blaming the local officials. When Katrina hit, the local and state officials dropped the ball big time and got off the hook.

Sounds like you're unfamiliar with the word "attrition"...

"Consolidate agencies and streamline processes to cut costs and improve results"

Perhaps you can tell us why that's a bad thing... Maybe you can go into why bloated bureaucracy as status quo is a good thing and should be continued...

That is untrue. The levees in question are not under the jurisdiction of the USA CofE. They are under the jurisdiction of the State Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority. And the State is the one that made the call to breach the levees. Why didn't they do it sooner?

He didn't need to call me. The most casual observer could have seen how much rain southeast Florida received, how big the storm was, and how slow moving. Apparently Jindal was too stupid to reach a logical conclusion.

But the quote has been taken grossly out of context, and the media reports have selectively edited some significantly positive comments from the very same woman.

Selective editing...against Romney...from the Lamestream media??!! Shocking!
