Did you buy a fixer upper?

We no longer have the right to fix up our own homes without the approval of a code inspector, the inspector may charge what he see's fit to charge. Some jobs may require multiple inspections.
This will also require a permit per project. No permit will cost up to 1000 dollars.
There is a state inspection and a local municipality inspection required. thats 2 per project. Inspections run 250 per pop at a minimum.
If your water heater goes out tonight, dont bother going to lowes until you get a permit and a date for inspection.
It was said at a local town meeting that inspectors will wait at local home improvement stores and follow shoppers home to look for permits.
