It's a metric TON of fun. Great friendships built. Learn a lot about yourself and others too.

Knees are actually one of our bigger injury concerns. Probably more knees than anything else hurt on the field. Step in a chuck hole while charging. Get fallen into by a "dying" comrade. Take a sword (effectively a duct taped baseball bat) a little low. All not fun ways to end your day on the field.

My personal story happened back in Junior High School. I got shoved down a ramp by a girl because I wouldn't let her copy my homework. Smacked both knees on the concrete block wall corner at the bottom of the ramp. Couldn't stand up on my own for 2 days. Not fun.
