GADDAFI TELLS PALESTINIANS: REVOLT AGAINST ISRAEL

Gaddafi's first major speech since a popular uprising in neighbouring Egypt forced President Hosni Mubarak to resign, an event which electrified the Arab world and prompted speculation that other Arab governments could also be toppled.

........Gaddafi was shown saying on state television. "This is a time of popular revolutions."

"We need to create a problem for the world. This is not a declaration of war. This is a call for peace," he said in a speech given to mark the birthday of the Prophet Mohamed, a holy day in the Islamic calendar.

He also said: "All Arab states which have relations with Israel are cowardly regimes."
from bad to worse... pat yourselves on the back.....

We missed him the first time to blow him up...time for a retry!

Death to the non-infidel...

He feels emboldened by a WEASEL in the WH who takes cheap shots at Israel going as far as completely disrespecting them such as that circus stunt in the WH where Al Baraqi turned his back in the Prime Minister and simply walked out of the room, not giving a damn to even talk to him.

Notwithstanding the cheap shot offered by LGS it's rather obvious what's going on in Gaddafi's mind, "am I next?"

Say what you want about the guy but Muammar is the best dressed sem-socialist tyrant on earth.

He's not aging well though, I note.

He used to be a reasonably handome man.

Now look at him

This isn't a big deal. Even if the Islamic radicals wanted to rise up, the biggest, most powerful non-Israeli military in the middle east is Egypt, who is governed by a secular, pro-Western regime who wouldn't aid in an attack in Israel.........................................er, wait. Oh shit. Nevermind. This is bad.

Gaddafi is just saying what the vast majority of the people of the Middle East want to happen.

They are sick of their weak kneed governments kowtowing and pandering to Israel.

He doesn't want revolution in his country. He's a dictator himself, so he's trying to seem like a jew hating arab, hoping that will appease his own people.

I'm sure he senses the feckless foreign policy... and is acting accordingly.

What is "feckless" about the US foreign policy, Soggy?

2:23 am? No wonder you're so cranky!

Seriously though... what is feckless about our foreign policy? Ok, I'll take it a step further.. what is our foreign policy? We had about three different positions on Egypt. Which at the end of the day, when they finally narrowed it down to one, was 180 degrees out of phase with our stance on Iran which is a much more brutal and authoritarian government.

It's a cheap shot to point out the obvious?

He's probably vying for some street cred..

come one, i was only talking to left wing liberal progressive apologists and the news media... i am confident that you are neither.... so, don't pat yourself on the back...

now as for blaming other regions such as blaming the palis for screwing up gaza, well they (the palis) screwed the pooch for sure... blaming muhammadanism for oppressing their own people and putting thier women in burkas or stoning / lashing the victims, well you may have a point.... blaming a 7th century throw back oppression brings music to my ears...

What do you consider "kowtowing and pandering to Israel" by Middle Eastern governments to be?

Wasn't Gadafi the "Line of Death" guy? And when Reagan put a fleet across that line, he drew a new one?

Isn't that the same guy?

Impressive. Reagan laid such a beat down on him, he stayed in his hole for 30 years.

wonder where the balls to talk shit came from?
