The issue is that if he's outspoken about something, it will hurt the business that he is endorsing. Free speech is free but there are consequences. Michael Vick isn't getting many endorsement deals because of his penchant for animal cruelty. Rush Limbaugh is limited to advertising only on his own program (primarily) because he is such a toxic idiot.
