Here is one for you, Baked Devils Float, not necessarily holiday food, but just something I make every time this year. And it is very easy to make.

For the syrup:
Water 1 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar 1/2 cup
Butter 1 tablespoon
Sugar 1/2 cup

For the batter:
Sugar 1/2 cup
Coco powder 3 teaspoons
baking poweder 2 teaspoons
Flour 1 cup
Butter (soft) 1 tablespoons
Milk 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon

In a sauce pan combine ingredients for the syrup, heat to a low simmer.
For the batter sift together the first 4 ingredients(dry).
Add in butter, milk and vanilla until well blended.
In an 8 inch square cake pan pour in syrup, then spoon in batter.
Cook in 350 oven for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
Note in syrup can use half Kaluha or Baileys and water for an added kick. Enjoy:)

Now I wish I knew how to bake...

Hey Moi, the recipe is really easy, almost fool proof.
I forgot to mention it is perfect for 4 people, however it is pretty rich so you could stretch for 6. Unless your'e a glutton like my wife and I and eat the whole thing ourselves:D .

Irony about, my favorite Christmastime holiday recipe is errr..... Challah bread. Got an awesome recipe from my Jewish neighbour and i always make it for the holidays.

Hey Mntbiker, that sounds awesome, hey Di, maybe we should have made that for Thursday! :)

Isaac, this bread has a different name to it, and I like breads, even though that are VERY fattening, you should throw up the recipe.

Jim, maybe you should have a recipe section!!!!!! whether you think it's gay or not! :)

Hey Mt,

Sounds awsome, but I am not going to wait till the holidays to make it !
