Given President Con Man's cogent (to him and his sycophants) remarks this past week about some countries, in reviewing this site, I have failed to see any good arguments as to why, as the Con Man desires, Norwegians should consider imigrating to the U.S.

At present we have 25,300 Norwegians in the U.S., the 3rd smallest group of immigrants.
502 came in 2016, down 59 from 2015.
Norway has a higher gross domestic product than the U.S.
It has a higher life expectancy.
It has lower rates of infant mortality.
It has low unemployment.
It is the world's happiest country.
It has the most press freedom.
It has the most prosperity
And, it does not have President Con Man.

So, why would any Norwegian in his/her right mind want to immigrate to a country such as the U.S, with a dedicated ".... for brains," con man as President???

Yes, which is why Scandinavian countries keep sending millions of immigrants to the U.S. for hundreds of years. They add up to quite a few, especially in Minnesota and northern plains states, where entire villages would come over and settle at one time. They managed to do just fine, as they usually came over with money and bought their farms outright.

Well, they're actually over-populated relative to what their domestic economy and agriculture can sustain, and always have been, except relatively recently they began getting big bucks from their North Sea oil royalties, which of course isn't going to last forever. that's why they have such along history of immigrating to the U.S. since the 1700's. They became Vikings out of necessity and survival. Global warming would be a big boon to them.
