Holder still says he never heard of "fast and furious" that put 2,000 illegal weapons in the hands of Mexican drug dealers until the story broke and yet Congress has a bag full of memos that crossed Holders desk. What does it take to get rid of this guy? Maybe the president's cooperation and the left wing media getting off their fat asses? You don 't get to say "it must never happen again" when you are the boss and you let it happen in the first place.

The Attorney General runs the Justice Dept which includes federal law-enforcement and the FBI. "Fast and Furious was an incredible risk sending thousands of illegal weapons to Mexico and hoping to track them. Since there wasn't much else going on in federal law enforcement at the time it seems that the ATF would have an iron-clad OK from the A.G. to go through with it and memos confirm it. A US Border Patrol officer was killed with one of the weapons and perhaps hundreds of Mexican citizens. This is a serious matter and yet the A.G. seems to get away with dodging the issue and the liberal media seems to be in limbo about the issue and hoping it goes away..

Harry Truman never really meant it but he is credited with the saying : "the buck stops here". It's a response to the old political technique of passing the buck. When you accept the responsibility for a supervisory position you can't get away with saying "it will never happen again" especially when someone gets killed because of your poor decisions.
