Excellent question. At this point, the two sides have become so polarized that I think the answer is never. Both sides are more interested in hurting the other side to maintain their own power that doing the job they are paid to do has become a side issue.

Perhaps so, but should we just forget the misjudgement and the wrong doings of the DOJ? Do they continue their day to day mishandling of important cases and go on as nothing is wrong? There has to be oversight and there is a process in place, but it is being ignored.

Just so you know, the people of Arizona don't consider SB1070 to be 'bad State law'. They consider it an act of self-preservation, since the Federal government won't do a goddamned thing about a million illegal aliens a year traipsing across sovereign territory.
