Justice Department shields Holder from prosecution after contempt vote | Fox News

Okay, not quite. But the Justice Department isn't going to press charges against its own head. Did anyone really expect they would? Obviously the DOJ's official position is that Holder didn't do anything wrong. Did they think they were going to accomplish anything with this? When is Congress going to stop wasting time and actually get to work on something?

Excellent question. At this point, the two sides have become so polarized that I think the answer is never. Both sides are more interested in hurting the other side to maintain their own power that doing the job they are paid to do has become a side issue.

No a House that has Passed over 30 Bills that are not even Getting the Time of day in the Democrat Controlled Senate, asked him to.

Playing a bit loose with Facts or what?

Perhaps so, but should we just forget the misjudgement and the wrong doings of the DOJ? Do they continue their day to day mishandling of important cases and go on as nothing is wrong? There has to be oversight and there is a process in place, but it is being ignored.

The fact that SIDES are the issues is the frightening part. Holder should ask for independent counsel to review the contempt findings, little chance of that. Who in DC could BE independent today?

Funny how the right thought nothing of Karl Rove refusing to testify, but now they're aggravated.

How long have the Republicans wasted time saying the health care law was unconstitutional? Could have been working to repeal it, or working towards a better alternative. How much time has been wasted trying to maintain bad state laws in AZ? Could have been spent actually working for real reform of our miserable immigration policy.
