Interesting with all the immigration talk.
At one point the U.S. was collecting soo many immigrants U.S. citizens wandered bout to Texas until they annoyed Bustamante soo much with their numbers and use of slaves he attempted to stop U.S. immigration to their state.
Then the former U.S. citizens in Texas got angry and started talk of independence and were the majority by the time of war and Texas was born.
