Were made last weekend on Saturday when VP Cheney shot a man in a hunting accident. So far this is an extremely rare occurence, only one other time in the history of the nation has a sitting VP shot another person.

I am sure you all know who it is so I'll let you give up that information....

about the duels : Georges Clémenceau, President of the Council during WWI (aka Prime minister) was a famous duelist.

Once, he went to a duel, and bought a train ticket. He took no return ticket. The lady of the office saling tickets was surprising, and asked :

"Do you think you'll die ?"
"No, answered Clémenceau, I count about the return ticket of my foe".

(sorry for the mistakes, translated from french)
