Historic Recall Efforts in Wisconsin

So, just who is THE MAN to whom Public Employee Unions are sticking it?

Unions aren't designed to 'stick it' to anyone, they help ensure labor is not being 'stuck'.

By sticking the taxpayers with the bill.

And you guys have the nerve to bitch about the disappearing middle class.

Bureaucrat unions stick it to the taxpayer, whom said bureaucrats believe to have pockets that are bottomless.

We the proletariat gotta little news flash for y'all: They ain't.

Unions are designed to funnel tax payer money into the pockets of wealthy people and into campaign contributions

No they're not.

Not even a good try...

They may not have been designed to do that, but that's exactly what they are doing. That's a fact no matter how you want to spin it.

The VOTERS spoke in record numbers in that Supreme Court race, and the union candidate lost big. No one wants the union work-rule bullshit costing taxpayers more than they can afford. If the Fed employees can't unionize, then the State workers shouldn't either. What is the biggest reason to move factories overseas? Union work rules and union pay scale. They wrecked the auto industry, as well as many others.

:lol::lol: What? The union, or Democrat, candidate did not lose big. The Republican is up by 7,000 votes. This is a guy who easily won previous elections with over 75% of the vote. It shouldn't have been that close. Plus, there will most likely be a recount. This isn't over yet.

In another race that same day, a Democrat took Walker's old seat from a Republican. And 19 counties that previously voted for Walker flipped to Democrats.

Then, on top of all of that, Democrats have collected enough signatures to trigger a recall election for two Republican state senators. More are on the way. Walker is eligible for recall in less than a year. He's toast.

It's insulting millions of working Americans to act as though unions are the only people who work in this nation.

Claiming that unions are evil, corrupt organizations who do nothing for the workers and steal from the taxpayers is also insulting millions of working Americans.

Good, let them be insulted. There are many more millions that know unions for the POS organizations that they are.

Like the pile in your avatar. What union logo is that, btw?

Once again, you're overestimating the support you guys have in your war against unions.

The majority of Americans support unions. Every poll has shown that.

Lost big?

I don't know what results you may have read but Prosser won by 0.19%, I don't think that less than 2 tenths of a percent means that the other candidate "lost big".

I'm not defending the "lost big" remark but its funny how so many people posted poll after poll showing how nationwide and in the state of WI it was like 75% pro union... Then the Pro Union candidate loses again.

That’s what so many of us mean when we say there is reality and then polls… Of course because we don’t like Unions that steal tens of millions from tax payers that makes us evil Republicans, not just aware of a problem regardless of our political leaning.

Then why don't only the Pro Union guys win elections.............................................................................................................................................................................?

Correction: in 2008 Unions donated 68 million to Obama....

On this page is a list of money spend by Unions on political "leaders." It has a breakdown of overall money spent and what party received how much.

Obama Thanks His Friends: Government Spending and Union Support

"Since 1990, labor unions have contributed over $667 million in election campaigns in the United States, of which $614 million or 92 percent went to support Democratic candidates. In 2008, unions spent $74.5 million in campaign contributions, with $68.3 million going to the Democratic Party."

If Walkers plans don't work out for WI and businiess and jobs don't come rolling in then he will be voted out.

If that happens then a Dem will probably be Gov again. The Unions will be back and the status quo will be alive and well in WI.

Hate to be a taxpayer in that State if that happens.

Unions are concerned with one thing. Power.

The most important thing about their members is the money they provide in dues that enable them to pour money into campaigns. They need money to elect politicians that they can work with to provide sweetheart deals. Good thing if your a union member on the receiving end not so good if your the taxpayer footing the bills.

There are State and Fed laws to protect workers. OSHA to ensure safety. Why would you need a union anymore.

Sounds like more claptrap.

Can you name them please?
