What are the meaningful differences between Hillary storing classified information on a private server and former CIA director John Deutch storing them on his laptop? I am very curious to hear from the lefties and righties on this one.

there is no difference between Clintons server and the servers of countless other politicians .... 43 and Cheney has two active servers during two wars in the mid east ... nobody gave a shit.

Clinton is a dem, the only idiots that continue to whine are the repukes ... there is your ONLY difference.

In 1995, President Bill Clinton appointed him Director of Central Intelligence (cabinet rank in the Clinton administration). However, Deutch was initially reluctant to accept the appointment. As head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Deutch continued the policy of his predecessor R. James Woolsey to declassify records pertaining to U.S. covert operations during the Cold War.[4]

Deutch fell out of favor with the Clinton administration because of public testimony he gave to Congress on Iraq. Specifically Deutch testified that Saddam Hussein was stronger than he was four years ago and the CIA might never be able to remedy the issue. Clinton dismissed Deutch after he had won re-election.[5][6]

Deutch left the CIA on December 15, 1996[1] and soon after it was revealed that several of his laptop computers contained classified materials designated as unclassified.[clarification needed] In January 1997, the CIA began a formal security investigation of the matter. Senior management at CIA declined to fully pursue the security breach. Over two years after his departure, the matter was referred to the Department of Justice, where Attorney General Janet Reno declined prosecution. She did, however, recommend an investigation to determine whether Deutch should retain his security clearance.[7] President Clinton pardoned Deutch on his last day in office.[8] Deutch had agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor for mishandling government secrets, but President Clinton pardoned him before the Justice Department could file the case against him.[9]

Hillary can do no wrong, even when it's illegal.

Did two Federal judges say Bush's or Cheney's servers were set up in bad faith? Because they did with Hillary.

This is just a spinoff from The failed Bengazhi witch hunt .

All the shot on her server was emailed to her from someone else . They should be charged if it's such a crime .

We already have one witness who has gotten immunity.
We already have 2 judges who said she acted in bad faith
We already have Judicial Watch empowered to proceed with discovery
We already have Obama making excuses for her.

None of this has happened before. The process is playing out. And it wont look good for her either way. Either she is indicted and faces trial or Obama pardons her and admits she is a criminal.

All we have is a bunch of talk. Just like wh Benghazi. And look what happened there.

But will there be any fallout?

Yup sure will. Because they've already established that there is no "mantle of innocence."

How much fallout? Can it keep her from the nomination. I can't see the GOP carrying the water on this. They let Obama walk thru them with executive orders, they don't know how to fight. The Dems blew Bush 1 out with the Iran/contra affair, they know how to use a loaded gun. Do expect the press to bring the heat?

Its ultimately up to the voters. Hillary is guilty. That is almost an established fact. Just how guilty is the real question.
So if she gets indicted she can still go on and win the election, which would give her presidential immunity from prosecution for 4 years at least.
Or Obama could pardon her and it would go away. Perhaps pardon her after the election but before inauguration.
Or she could be indicted and lose the election and Obama will still pardon her.
Lots of possibilities. But with Democrats an indictment by the FBI is no big deal. The media will point out all the politicians in Ghana or whatever who were indicted and people will scream its all political.
