Smart? Articulate? For the past six decades, all members of the Republican Party have served the super-rich and Big Business, exclusively. The GOP leaders have long understood their base has no use for anyone smart and/or articulate.

This fact was brought home by the right-wing nuts' immediate adoration for trump in 2015. He is the least intelligent and most inarticulate candidate ever to run for U.S. President.

While their man trump lost the popular vote in 2016, the haters of smart and articulate people in the "swing states" put the unintelligent and inarticulate trump over the top with electoral votes.
