Hike to Yipsolon lake, Estes Colorado.

The hike ended at a paltry 11,500 feet. All photos were taken by my friend Brandon. I apologize for wrecking the one.

And our destination, Lake Yipsolon. It sits at 11,500 feet. Awesom view.-

Sure was. We saw some Elk to. A bull with his ladies staring down another young bull. The poor old guy looked like he had been fending other bulls off all morning. Sad thing was, the poor old chap had four more young bull in the next meadow waiting for their shot at the crown. I will have more pics as they get sent.

I have my eyes set on Longs peak next spring. I am tempted to do it real fast now before the weather starts, but the old (wise) part of me says "no, not yet". But its on my plate before I am unable. I will make this hike again though, and I am bringing a fishing pole to.

9 miles round trip and it ends at 11,500 and begins at 10,000 or so I think. Was lots of fun.
