That's the problem with Obama's "Stimulus" bill. It adds $900B to the deficit (which will now be financed with increasing interest payments) - yet all it really accomplished was to prolong public employee jobs and defer the inevitable need to REDUCE THE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT.

Shameful and incredibly expensive vote-buying - that's all it is.

Because the politicians tell them that "big business is screwing you over." The truth is that big business, small business, or any business is what creates jobs and wealth. If people are too stupid to see that, like many posters here, then they deserve what they get.

Here are the reasons:
(1) IL is a melting pot.
(2) Blacks vote for democrats, because most don't care or even know the issues, they only see a D
(3) Latinos vote the D because of illegal immigration issue.
(4) Jews (which IL has large population of) are mostly helpless liberals that vote D regardless.
(5) Too many old school hippies in IL.
(6) Too many liberal college professors like Bill Ayers twisting young minds!
