This aircraft Capt. deserves high praise for his professional heroism in saving the lives of his passengers. My very high praise for a job well done Capt.

Sully did a great job.

But I vote for the people that designed a plane that can land in a river in one piece and float.

They are the unsung heroes of this story.

Chris, while the A-320 held together and that a good thing it has a whole lot more to do with the skill of the pilot in situations like that. Let me show you another video of another A-320 with a twisted nose gear, had this pilot not had the skills needed to bring this aircraft in much like the Capt. of the US-Air flight the outcome would have been much like the outcome of the original A-320 test flight that ended up in the tree's at the end of the runway.

All I am saying is no one ever talked about the designers of the plane.

They deserve a lot of credit.

That was one cool pilot.

I took private pilots license classes, and the CFI was always pulling emergencies on you. It is one thing when you know help is right there, and dealing with it yourself.

I really appreciated it when I accidentally spun myself one time.

Sully is an excellent choice.

I would also like to nominate the 3 Navy Seals' heroes who are being wrongfully persecuted by this terrorist-sympathizing government.
