Herman Cain's First Polling Since News of Accusations Broke

By the by ... I saw the latest poll as well. He's ( Cain ) holding the lead and Newt has inched his way up into third place. Hmmmmm ... very interesting.

I like newt.

but mostly, why would you want a guy who was cheating on his wife, while impeaching another guy for cheating on his wife and who served his wife divorce papers while in the hospital after a mastectomy?

Oh, that's the latest version of the story?

I looked it up. Truth is his wife was having a benign tumor removed when Newt visited his estranged wife with his children.....not to serve her divorce papers.

You see, when the story came out nobody could double-check the real facts like we can today.....so the smear back then was more effective then it would be today.

In 2011, their daughter, Jackie Gingrich Cushman, said that it was her mother who requested the divorce, that it happened prior to the hospital stay (which was for the removal of a benign tumor, not cancer), and that Gingrich's visit was for the purpose of bringing the couple's children to see their mother, not to discuss the divorce.

I am under the assumption that this will eventually hurt his poll numbers but that doesn't change the facts that as of right now both his poll numbers and campaign contributions are up from last friday, before the story broke.

The press conference by the alleged victim's attorney yesterday was a JOKE.
Similar to the afternoon "one call, that's all" TV ads by ambulance chaser attorneys.
All that did was help Cain. Obvious that this "victim" wanted and wants no part of this from the get go.
Not blaming her but what we end up with is NO FACTS whatsoever. Even though I believe he most likely did something, doesn't matter. My standard of proof needs EVIDENCE.
