Herman CAIN vs President UnABLE

I wonder if Joe Biden thinks that Herman Cain is an articulate black man?

On another note, one thing to look forward to in a Cain/Obama debate is that Cain can call Obama on some of his socialist crap without the race card being thrown. Or at least one would hope.

there are some, in this thread alone, that refer to Cain as a bigot.

The fact that he is black does not mean he is not a racist...or can not be accused of being a racist.

I have seen no indication that he is a racist in any way. I do not see him biased toward black or white.

You know who are racists?

Every single person who claimed that the GOP was using Cain as a pawn. And everyone of them were progressives or democrats.

THEY saw black and came up with reasons as to how his race played a roll in his position in the primaries.

Why do you do this?

It serves NO purpose at all.

Obama has a top education and so does Cain.

Morehouse is a top flight school.

So is Harvard.

They both did well in college.

Why spew mindless lies for poltical purposes?

Why do Democrats was to suppress voters?
Run from it all you want. Avoid the question, but people will continue to ask it.

maybe you better go back to the thread in question.

I await your apology

So you admit that it was a stupid remark and should be held against her?
You agree to suggest postponing elections is actively suppressing the vote, but you still feel requiring people to prove they are eligible to vote is much worse, right?

Democrats don't want an educated person as president, of ANY color. Mathmetician-Rocket Scientist Herman Cain, stands totally in opposition to the illiterate affirmative action president they have now.

If obama did so well at Harvard, what were his grades? I'm willing to grant you that he did well, IF he could prove it. Cain took his education and became a ballistics expert for the Navy. Obama was editor of the Harvard Law Review for one year, recognized in the legal field as being the worst year and least cited in 20 years. After graduation, obama got a job with a law firm as an affirmative action hire. What were the cases that he litigated? Did he litigate any major cases? Or, was he put in an office to be trotted out for show? Writ large on obama's resume is that he was a professor of Constitutional Law. In reality he was NEVER a professor of Constitutional law. He was an adjunct or visiting professor.

Not so hot. On Volokh.com, somebody calling himself LawStatMan goes all Bill James on the citation record:

Obama’s vol. 104 is the least-cited volume of the Harvard Law Review in the last 20 years

I've run electronic searches to determine the number of times Obama’s volume 104, and every other volume of the Harvard Law Review published during the last 20 years, has been cited in all law reviews during each subsequent year for which full data is available (starting in the year after the last issue of each volume appeared, and running through 2006, the last year for which full citation data is currently available).

a more rigorous blue-penciler."

There doesn't seem to be any record of Obama publishing anything in his own journal. The commenter who say he's a former editor of HLR claimed on Volokh:

"The law students on the Review all have the right to publish at least one piece (typically they publish at least their third-year papers, which they have to write anyway), and many publish at least two pieces. It would seem surprising if Obama published nothing at all in the very Review over which, he has so often boasted, he presided as President."

Okay, assuming all this is true, what are we to make it?

1. Obama was, objectively speaking, a lousy president of the Harvard Law Review.

How Good Was Obama At Running The Harvard Law Review? | VDARE.com

Not only was he a lousy president, but he never bothered to publish anything of his own! Stupidity or just LAZY.

Obama's laughable legal "career".

"He was doing the work that any first-year or second-year associate would do," Miner said. "In litigation, he was doing basic research and writing memos. . . . In the first couple years he would play a very minor role. He wouldn't know [much], so he would take the lead from whoever was supervising his work."
Is Obama A Lawyer | Obama's law days effective but brief - Los Angeles Times

Excuse me, he worked for this firm for four years and didn't progress beyond first or second year associate work?

He had ONE major case, how much help he had on that case is like everything else, unknown.

The primary beneficiary of obama's employment with this firm is Tony Rezko and we know what happened there. Which begs the question. How many criminals and terrorists as friends does Herman Cain have?

Dam...you are good. Straight to the point with data to back it up.

By the way...its coming....you did all of that research becuase you are disgusted at having a black man as your president.

You are a racist.

Good work. And thank you.

Her suggestion kept no one from voting did it?

ID will keep legal American voters from voting.

One you care about the other you dont.

 The idea of suspending elections for two years is OK with you.

:lmao:

Obama arrived in Chicago in 1993 with a degree from Harvard Law School and was hired as a junior lawyer at the firm then known as Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Gallard. He helped represent clients in civil and voting rights matters and wrongful firings, argued a case before a federal appellate court, and took the lead in writing a suit to expand voter registration.

But the firm also handled routine legal matters and real estate. Obama spent about 70% of his time on voting rights, civil rights and employment, generally as a junior associate. The rest of his time was spent on matters related to real estate transactions, filing incorporation papers and defending clients against minor lawsuits.

from your own link.

it seems they did not think he was stupid like you claim.

Lets try to remember this thread is about Herman Cain and his vast resume.

he is VERY qualified for the postion he seeks

Why are YOU lying about what I said?

You go on and on and on and on...ad nauseum...about the idea of voter IDs, yet you cannot bring yourself to condemn the idea of suspending an election for two years.

Got it.

You don't give a shit about voters' rights; you're just a partisan.

(Not that many of us are surprised at your partisan dishonesty, though. ;))

n one said he was stupid.

But what you quoted shows that he was not an accomplished attorney.
To the contrary, it shows that he was not an imporving attorney. 4 years and remaining as an assoicate is deemd a sign of lack of progression
Furthermore, those that handle settlement law (bank attorney) and real estate law for full service law firms are usually either partners that have specialized in that or associates that are not ready for prime time, in court, litigation work.
Minor law suits refers to "out of court settltments"...
Real estate transactions refers to representing buyers and sellers..and sometimes leasers of commercial space. Basic boiler plate type of documents and usually attended by a paralegal in the larger firms.
Corporation filings?
You are aware that most states have changed the process and allow you to do it on line as they realized an attorney was not required and it was costing people lots of money for an attorney to do what an attorney wasnt required to do?

If you dont believe me, go to your state web site. It will allow you to file for a new corporate identity on line.

If followed, it would keep everyone from voting
ID will keep legal American voters from voting.
No, it will keep ineligible voters from voting. Eligible voters need only present a photo ID that can be had at little or no cost
One you care about the other you dont.

WHY?????

I care about both. In one case, a Democrat Governor would like to suspend the rights of everyone to vote for Congress, and in the other, Conservatives would like to assure that only those legally entitled to vote, do so.
So, do I find one case more reprehensible than the other?
You betcha!

I would vote for Obama.

I think he is Very qualified also and I like his postions for the solutions to our problems better than the republicans stance.

I like his experience with the fed reserve.

I like he is not just saying what he thinks he has to say to get elected
