Heres that Torture being used again but this time....

So when the UN recognizes a country like Israel, becomes a vehicle to impose sanctions on countries acting against American interests or keep countries from obtaining Nuclear weapons..the UN is useful..even sited as a reason to commit to an illegal war.

But when the UN criticizes, in anyway, the US..the UN is bad.

That's not the way the world operates.

To be clear. I have wanted out of the UN since the early 90's. The only great thing they have done was Israel and that was actually the League of Nations. Since then it's gone down hill quickly and become a drain on our economy, and is little more than a place for everyone to have thier say and get little done.

The UN has been next to worthless for decades. What have they done? Stopped the genocide in Africa? Nope. Prevented any rouge countries from playing with Nukes? Nope. Criticized the country that pays 75% of their bills? Oh yeah!

The fact the entire world doesn't have nukes..is basically due to the UN.

A drain on the economy?

Far from it. In fact..probably the exact opposite. The UN has been instrumental in projecting US power and policy in most of the world..especially the Middle East. More most of it's existence, the UN has favored the US and the west in general.

Who do you think pay's for the security? Who pays for the membership fee's? that money could be spent in places like feeding the poor here in America.

How do you know the world dosn't have nukes? Oh thts right the media said so. I think it was reported back in the late 90's to early 2001 russia lost track of some nukes. then the story went silent.

Every country that wants nukes and has the money either has them or is working to get them.

There's far to much proof to the contrary to claim the UN is usefull.

it happen while obama is president.

The man suspected of revealing classified US government documents to the WikiLeaks website is being held in solitary confinement while awaiting trial. Bradley Manning has been kept alone in his cell in a Virginia jail for 23 hours a day, under constant surveillance, for seven months. The Pentagon denies he is being mistreated, saying that he receives visitors, can make phone calls, and routinely meets with doctors. But the UN says the use of solitary confinement for prolonged periods can be a form of torture that should be used sparingly. Al Jazeera's Kristen Saloomey reports from the Quantico military base.

I say let him out in the general population. He'll be beat within hours and dead within a week.
