Yeah, but then again those fighting for fascism weren't exactly going the right way either, and Spain was and still is a country of extremes when it comes to politics. The PP, the current govt (sort of), is quite right wing, and most of the country hate them, but they still get into power because the Socialists are the same, most of the people hate them. Both sides mess things up and couldn't run a country is it smacked them in the face.
