Here is a non-partisan assessment on Obama's campaign promises

In the end, to really evaluate this each promise must be weighted on several different levels.

Just adding them up is useless.

I mean, he could have broken all his other promises....and had he gotten single payer through, it would likely all be forgiven by the left.

Three cheers for the tools that think this OP is nonpartisan.

Oh, you forgot;

Murdered a US citizen w/o a trial.

Was that a promise ?

He promised to uphold the Constitution.

Thus, it's one of his broken promises. Liberals are proud that he did it, none the less.

What some fail to understand is, not everyone considers all those promises to have been necessary or beneficial for this country as a whole. If you look at each one, you will most likely notice that they pander to small groups that do not, by a long shot, represent Americans as a homogenous group. Most of those small groups represent some of O's pet minority constituencies. Others boil down to payoffs to Barry's best buddies. Follow the money, then tell me how wonderful all these promises kept are. This does not make Barry's list of "accomplishments" a compelling motivation to put him in office again. He was, and still is, abysmally un-qualified for the office he holds.

:lol: It's amazing how people such as yourself remain in denial despite having concrete evidence right in front of your eyes.

Abysmal? Do you know what Bush's lowest approval rating was? 18%. Obama's lowest is 38% thus far.

Give the man a break, he's only been president for less than three years. I'm sure if he gets another term he'll beat Shrub's record.

It will never fall below 30%.

remember, the population is ~ 40% conservative, 40% liberal and 20% independent.

1/2 the liberals will never admit big 0 is awful. Krap, they are proud that he murdered a US citizen w/o a trial.:doubt:

And yet . . . Obama refuses to attach his name to these tax cuts cause then he wouldn't be able to bash the 'Bush' tax cuts. He takes 'credit' while avoiding the 'blame'. Typical.

#435 - criminal penalties for mortgage fraud.

Would that be creating a debtor's prison situation, more or less? :eek:

Liberal Dictionary:
===========================================
mortgage fraud - going broke by giving mortgages to people who can't pay them.

The population is only 20% liberal, nitwit, and the fact that it's 40% conservative didn't prevent Bush's number from falling to 18%.

Here's another take on Obama's success. Now, if you consider his mission is to utterly and completely destroy the US, I guess you could quite accurately claim his success. If you expect anything else, well, here ya go!

You do realize that the private sector can't possibly pay for everything, right?

Not only can't they..they won't.

We don't have people in this country with a personal wealth of over 24 billion dollars because of altruism.

Does the government generate revenue on it's own ?

No.

The private sector ultimately pays for everything.

The big question is whether or not everything is everything you want or everything I want which is less than what you want.

But whatever it is, the private sector will ultimately pay for it.

A bump for the private sector and thanks for making possible to pay taxes so we can have services....in essence paying for everything.
