The entire neighborhood was aware he had a problem, yet the police are acting like this is all news to them. Do you seriously think that no one, including his parents, tried to get him help?

I would like to hear from the parents also. He was obviously unstable. How could the parents allow him to have a gun in the house?

How about the Sheriff of Pima County? It is being reported that this asshole had uttered multiple death threats against lots of people in the county and the sheriff did nothing about it. In CA death threats are a felony. I don't know what the laws are in AZ however. Regardless if there was indeed as much contact between the SO and this numbskull, the sheriff is going to have some tough questions to answer. Might explain his blizzard of publicity blaming the various media outlets.

Because if these reports are true the SO completely failed to do their duty. If theyhad done a proper follow up he would have been enterd into the ATF data base and when he attempted to purchase the weapon he would have been denied. You have a complaint, take it up with the Sheriffs office which didn't do their job.
