A note in the current issue of Consumer Reports:

President Trump signed these two laws in September:

1. The Patient Right To Know Drug Prices Act

and

2. The Know The Lowest Price Act...seems pharmacies weren't allowed to tell consumers that there were lower prices.

And, there's this from the President who accumulated the greatest number of lies that impacted Americans:

The Obameter
Allow Medicare to negotiate for cheaper drug prices

Obama health care plan
As a candidate, Barack Obama promised to repeal a prohibition on Medicare negotiating directly with drug companies over prices for Medicare recipients. But it's widely viewed as unlikely to before the end of the current Obama administration.

....and, the use of thought-control.

Here, an explanation as to why reducing the cost of pharmaceuticals to our aging population wasn't worth the effort to Hussein.....

“Former Obama Aide Is Sorry for Saying Obama Hates People

That happened on Tuesday when a quote by Neera Tanden, a former Obama aide and current president of the Center for American Progress, appearing in a story by John Heilemann in New York raised eyebrows:

"People say the reason Obama wouldn't call Clinton is because he doesn't like him.

The truth is, Obama doesn't call anyone, and he's not close to almost anyone. It's stunning that he's in politics, because he really doesn't like people."

She would know......

“…Tanden, who "served as senior advisor for health reform at the Department of Health and Human Services, advising Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and working on President Barack Obama’s health reform team in the White House to pass the bill," according to her bio at the Center for American Progress. She is currently president and CEO of the liberal organization.”

Congress controls the dept of laws on Medicare.

Why does Trump not allow the US to negotiate drug prices? You do know that Trump is president and the Repubs controlled congress for two years did nothing but give permanent tax cuts to rich people and corporations?

This Consumer Reports, January, has some pretty good stuff....

"Freezing your credit report is one of the most effective ways to prevent someone from fraudulently opening an account in your name. Since September, federal law has required that the big three credit reporting agencies....allow customers to freeze their credit reports free of charge....."

Hmm.....September.

Who was President in September????

I saw no provisions for negotiating drug prices..

Trump says he’s taking ‘revolutionary’ action to lower drug prices - The Washington Post
President Trump took his most significant action yet to lower drug prices, saying his administration is moving to stop “global freeloading” by foreign nations when it comes to the price that Americans pay for prescription drugs. The announcement is a sign that the president and his aides are shifting their focus to health care two weeks before the midterm elections.
Yet nothing follows his empty campaign promise.
