What does the salt do?

1) Is it plugged in?

No

2) Are you trying to turn it on with the remote, try the power button on the TV

The TV has a power button?

3) See if there is a reset (red button) on back of the TV. Could be a fuse problem.

What's a fuse?

4) Try plugging a nightlight to see if the outlet is live.
