Well the leftist argument was that we had 40 Million uninsured folks who were disenfranchised from healthcare wasn't it? So the solution is to subsidize and pay for their insurance by transferring costs to a NEW group of folks who will become the NEXT pool of 40 Mill uninsured when they can't afford their coverage anymore..

I quit using socialism.

I prefer to substitute slavery whenever I see programs that are meant for the greater good, but require only a fraction of the people to pay for them.

Kind of like the plantation owner. He saw the greater good in expanding his business, and the slave was the fraction of the people who made it happen.
