Helen Thomas didn't say anything anti-semitic or calling for harm to the Jewish people.

She just stated her opinion about Israel and Zionism:


"Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine," she said in videotaped comments. "Remember, these people are occupied. And it's their land. It's not German, it's not Poland." When asked where the Israelis should go, she said they should "go home" to Germany, Poland and the U.S.

and;

"Congress, the White House and Hollywood, Wall Street are owned by the Zionists. No question."

She's yesterdays news anyway. No one ever expected more from her.

I mean she said that America was entirely run by the Jews.

Logically, if that were the case, Iran would have been attacked by now.

So, to my view she was just another heavily leaning liberal who is as relevant as last years suds. Deserving of losing any and all awards that state she is neutral.

For that's what a journalist of her time was supposed to be. She was nothing but biased. She should never have received the award in the first place.
