Health insurance is doomed to failure

Your concept of insurance is completely incorrect as is your idea of healthcare. not everyone is going to have 'a slow painful agonizingly expensive death' as many people simply keel over when the time is right. Others are less expensive and others just live forever with the most expensive illnesses imaginable. The key is risk and that is what insurance does - it predicts risk of a group and then divides the cost of that risk by the whole.
You're dealing with a paranoid schizophrenic. Explaining facts to him is like trying to teach a pig to sing.
It's like trying to herd house cats

I haven't been inaccurate about anything yet.
You don't get to offer up a premise, have that idea debunked then continue the idea which of course is tantamount to creating your own reality.

Insurance is a pyramid scheme. You take money from the base of the pyramid, pay most of it to the top of the pyramid (the accidental loss) and keep a cut for yourself.

Now ask yourself.

Would car insurance work if 100% of everyone got into a car accident?

No it fucking wouldn't who the fuck would insure someone 100% likely to get in a goddamned accident.

100% of everyone is going to die a slow painful agonizingly expensive death because America believes your vegetable life is precious and hellbound American cultists who call themselves Christian are so afraid of death they will spend all the money their insurance policies will dole out to live one more year wallowing in their own shit.
You clearly dont understand how insurance works. Why is this not surprising?
But, insurance is no longer insurance when some outside entity makes the rules, and floods the pool with pre-existing conditions, makes certain meds free, etc.

It was morbid obesity and the related disorders that caused the health crisis, not greedy docs and insurance companies.

Until that is addressed, nothing will fix the situation.

A) There never was a "health crisis"....it was a fabrication based on a phony number that 46 million Americans were uninsured...which is a lie!
1) Even Obama NOW after ACA passed admits of the 46 million he used 10 million were NOT citizens!
2) The Census ADMITS they counted 14 million people as "uninsured" that were qualified for Medicaid/SCHIP if the government wasn't so inefficient!
3) 18 million that make over $50,000 refuse their employers' plans because they spend for health services less then the plans' costs... they were counted!
There were truly less the 4 million uninsured that wanted and needed insurance that could have each had a $5,000 a year premium paid if the same
tax charged against tanning salons in ACA was taxed on lawyers' $270 billion income.
B) These lawyers have caused admitted by doctors over $850 billion a year in defensive medicine. These doctors say they order duplicate tests, specialists referrals all because they fear lawsuits!
C) The insurance companies pay these "defensive medicine" claims and simply add the costs on to the insurance premiums.
D) EMTALA forces hospitals that take Medicare to take uninsured. The hospitals in turn sometimes charge Medicare 6,000% more then their costs to recoup the costs to service the "uninsured".

SOLUTION:
Tax lawyers 10% use that to pay premiums for "uninsured" to a for profit "Uninsured Health Ins. Co. (UHIC)" which then would take all the claims sent by
above hospitals and pays the hospitals...BUT hospitals have to approve audits to make sure they aren't overcharging Medicare!
The Lawyers 10% tax would reduce when the $850 billion "defensive medicine" costs decline!

This very simply solution would require NO changes in our health delivery, health finance and definitely have NO government involvement except
for the "UHIC" then watch insurance premiums decline as state regulators would be looking at the insurance companies claims payments and see
a decline thus not allow increases in premiums and maybe force reduction!

This is true. The claims that our healthcare was substandard always refuse to acknowledge the serious lifestyle problem that Americans have.

We like excess in virtually everything we do. From TV to food to drugs - excess.

Do I need to quote for you the average cost of death in an American hospital for you to prove you wrong?

It cost $10,000 per day to stay in a hospital in 2011.

Health care in the United States - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

What does that mean for your health savings plan...I mean...insurance plan? Did you put in enough to take out $10k a day?

No...duh
None of that addresses any points I made or the fact that you still do not understand what insurance even means.

Why are you mentioning health savings plans by the way? I thought you wanted to bitch about insurance.

I was referring to health savings plan in the facetious context of your mislabelling health savings plans as "insurance".

Insurance literally is you put little money into it expecting never to collect and a few who happen to get into accidents are the ones who collect.
I never labeled anything as a health savings plan and, again, your idea of insurance is flat out incorrect - period. I already corrected you on what insurance is - apparently you are not interested in understanding anything.
You said insurance is about risk..OK what's the risk of you dying and therefore charging a medical bill in the process?

100%

You're outta here
Since your premise is, yet again, false your augment is merit less. Your risk of dying and charging massive medical bills is NOT 100 percent.

If you have no insurance, you pay out of pocket, or you look into low-income solutions such as medicaid. But those take time.
Or you may find free clinics in larger towns and cities.
It is up for you to decide.
Honestly, it is another american business.

You understand you just undermined your own argument, right? If hte average is 140k (source?) then some will pay more, some less. Many people pay nothing, dropping dead of a heart attack on the golf course or whatever.

No. Trolls do not know when they undermine their own argument - that would be something reasonable.
