Since you seem to be hung up on infections, did you know that most hospital infections are preventable a with low tech, low cost solution called cleaning up real good? If you want to discuss health care expenditure you should stick to things that are actually about cost and not try to throw in stuff about bad hygiene and cleaning.

Understand for conservatives this is a matter of dogma, not facts or reality - healthcare is a privilege, not a right – it’s a commodity to be bought and sold to the highest bidder. Healthcare is only for those who can afford it – if one can not afford it, he’s out of luck. Conservatives see the issue as an incentive to compel Americans to work harder and do better; those who fail and can’t afford healthcare have only themselves to blame. Their only recourse is to go off to a hospice or like facility to die.
