Who are all these "new Libertarians?" I think they are largely fleeing BOTH parties and they -- like MOST OF AMERICA describe themselves as "socially liberal" and "fiscally conservative".. That's good enough for the NEW membership IMHO.

I just don't buy it from most of them. They'll be voting for Romney in November, which a real Libertarian wouldn't do.

You Could not be more Wrong, A Real Libertarian knows that the Libertarian Candidate has 0 Chance of winning, and He also Knows that A Moderate Republican Probably shares his Values on things more Often Than a Liberal Democrat.

Pretty simple Decision if you ask me.

Harry you seem like a decent guy as we've debated in other threads, but people calling themselves independant and moderate, almost always are not. I'm not saying you arent, but we have alot of skepticism. Look at Moonglow, he repeats left wing talking points, and never, never criticizes Obama. He attacks conservatives and republicans on EVERY issue, therefore he is a left wing tool. People who think Obama is moderate are insane and FAR FAR FAR left. I thought Bush was a moderate, I'll atleast admit I'm FAR FAR FAR right.

I noticed that too. It does seem like many People who consistently Hold Left or Far left Opinions Think they are Moderates. Probably why they tend to Label just about anything to even slightly to the right of them as Far right.

I mean come on, These people are as we speak trying to Label any and all attempts to actually address our Entitlement Problems, and Long Term Debt Issues as an Extreme Far right position, and they are trying to Label a Republican that is so liberal as to almost be a Democrat as a Far Right Person.

I mean to me that is reason enough to Vote for Romney. Never mind he Knows more about leading than Obama ever Dreamed of, and More About Economics then just about Anyone Obama listens to, The Man is a Moderate.

This Country is Polarized to hell, A real Moderate like Romney Could help change that. Unlike Obama who was just a pretender, Not a Moderate.

I see no point in a poll like this when the definitions mean different things to every person voting.

For instance, I believe we should follow the constitution and have a balanced budget. Does that make me "extreme right?" Do you have to hate the constitution and want massive deficits to be a 'far right liberal then?

What was Bush and the Republican congress when they didn't follow the constitution repeatedly and ran up massive deficits, started wars and grew HC, DoE and overall welfare... What is Obama and Democrats who run up new wars, expand old wars, don't follow the constitution repeatedly and spend even more than Bush?
