The president....especially this one...does not write laws. Congress does. trump has no idea what a real president should be doing. He thinks he is the "greatest of all time."

President Obama most certainly did, through an Executive Order called DACA. That order was meant to prevent the deportation of illegals that would otherwise have occurred under the current Federal Immigration Law, which was written and passed through the legislative process and signed into law under the executive as described through the United States Constitution. DACA itself was not passed through the legislative process outlined under the Constitution, and was created to specifically allow the President to go around and disregard the legislative process, with the intent to alter a current Federal law. Our government was created with three separate branches of government, each with its own clearly defined roles and powers granted by our Founders. According to that specific process and the powers allowed to each branch, DACA is unConstitutional by definition.

With regard to asylum. That specific law, which I’m certain you never read, has very specific limitations to what is allowed under Federal Law. An indivisible can not simply request Asylum and automatically gain entry - that’s False. What the law actually says, is the individual must prove their life or freedom would be threatened on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion should they return to their country of origin. The law also specifically state that Amnesty in itself is under the discretion of the attorney general. A refugee may be denied entry if those two conditions are met. Which is why people need to actually make an attempt to actually “read” the law they are trying to make reference to.

Perhaps you should try that before making a racial comment of our president and believing HE is the uninformed idiot in this instance. It pays to at least be knowledgeable on the issues you wish to discuss..

Trump cannot disallow an asylum seeker to apply for refugee status simply because he opposes the means by which the asylum seeker makes himself known to DHS.

Trump is wrong.

Actually it’s really not up to President Trump, as the wording of the asylum law is extremely specific in stating:

“unless the Attorney General finds that it is in the public interest for the alien to receive asylum in the United States.”

So the Attorney General of the United States can decide that it’s NOT in this nations public interest to allow thousands of refugees who want to use the word “asylum” as the basis for entry. There is also absolutely nothing the 9th Circuit Court can do about it, as it would bog down the system and make it impossible to effectively process wave after wave of thousands of refugees Don’t like it? Congress would have to change that portion of the law to make allowances for this specific case of so many refugees swarming at the border at once.
