I agree with one of the comments left....that a person 18 years old can be in the military and put his life on the line, but he can't have a cig if he lives in hawaii and is home on leave. At least, not until he is 21.

Nope. They are operating a deadly vehicle and 16 is not road wise enough. Some guy carrying a rifle and perhaps dying for this country should be able to choose if he wants a cig or not.

I support raising smoking age limit and I think we need some serious anti-smoking propaganda. 16 y.o. is too early age to decide to start smoking and endanger own body to be addicted for the rest of life.
