Having practice, Obama kowtows to the Tea Party, why should the Left Trust him?

Sorry, Necrophilia.

Obama got exactly what he wanted.

The treasonous Tea Party looks like the idiots they are.

Obama moves to the center, and the debt gets moved to after the election.

Hey Christoff ,
it is your story and you can tell any way you want

But these guys can't be wrong
It must be good- Black Socialist Caucus- Debt Deal Is “A Sugar-Coated Satan Sandwich”

Tip : Gateway Pundit

President Barack Obama’s rightward lurch to reach a $3 trillion deficit reduction deal with no guarantee of additional revenues had liberals fuming and Republicans all but declaring victory Sunday afternoon.

With time running out to reach an agreement to raise the debt ceiling before Tuesday’s default deadline, Obama moved dramatically in the direction of the GOP, according to Senators and aides in both parties…

…Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, said early reports of the new deal appeared to be “a sugar-coated Satan sandwich.” The Missouri Democrat said the CBC hadn’t yet made a formal declaration that the group would oppose it, “but this is a shady bill.”

“This deal trades people’s livelihoods for the votes of a few unappeasable right-wing radicals, and I will not support it,” ripped Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.), co-chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, before House Democrats had even been briefed. “The lesson today is that Republicans can hold their breath long enough to get what they want.”

Obama is working this just like Bill Clinton.

Obama moves to the center, and the Republicans look like idiots for almost pushing us into default.

I think this all but guarantees Obama's re-election.

Trap?

You give the Left too much credit

Is it the best deal- probably not
But the Republicans only hold one house

With only one House control, it is the best that could be done
Just a few months ago, Papa Obama's budget was calling for more spending and tax increases
with some of the RINO's not far behind

Even the Senate voted it down.

So the conversation has changed. They have succeeded in moving the debate

To allow the debt ceiling not be raised, would be giving the Left what they wanted

Besides,
The fact that the Left hates it, tells us all we need to know

Give the left too much credit? How am I giving them too much credit when they've made these bullcrap promises of spending cuts again and again to get concessions from Republicans and turn around and actually cut NOTHING?

They are lying again. Making false promises. and sadly people still aren't learning.

Rightward Tilt Leaves Obama With Party Rift

WASHINGTON — However the debt limit showdown ends, one thing is clear: under pressure from Congressional Republicans, President Obama has moved rightward on budget policy, deepening a rift within his party heading into the next election.

Besides turning off independents, Mr. Obama risks alienating Democratic voters already disappointed by his escalation of the war in Afghanistan and his failure to close the Guantánamo Bay prison, end the Bush-era tax cuts and enact a government-run health insurance system.

'Having practice O kowtows to the TEA Party'

Do you mean
1) practice in kowtowing or
2) practice in kowtowing to the TEA Party? Because 2 has NEVER happened.

kowtow is a very funny word

That's because you conveniently ignore the massive debt, the rising gas prices, the inflation, the rising food prices, the high unemployment rate and the complete failure in leadership the President has given us.

Heck, it was the President himself that said that even having a debate about the debt ceiling was a failure in leadership. I completely agree with him on that. But somehow now that he's supposed to be the leader this is a good thing that the governments requesting we raise the debt ceiling again.

Obama may win reelection. He may go down in flames. But if you think this crappy deal on both sides helps him, you have your head in the sand. You are celebrating what Obama called a failure in leadership. Ironic no?

I am celebrating the defeat of the treasonous Tea Party.

This is their high water mark. It's all downhill from here.

And the "massive debt" was caused by George Bush lowering taxes for the rich, starting two wars, and creating an unfunded drug program and letting Wall Street run a $516 trillion dollar derivative scheme that destroyed our economy.

And Obama's leadership has been pretty good.

Just ask GM or Osama Bin Laden.

Oh....wait.....

You can't ask Bin Laden. He's at the bottom of the ocean.

Do you know that the more BS threads you post the MORE people know youre a biased person that is lock-step with salesmen that spew propaganda like Limbaugh? You make these threads and they only piss people off. Let me teach you something kid. If you want to sway people you have to be a GOOD sales person. But for a young'in youre sure giving it your all.

I have never pretended, like most, to be "balanced"
Nor do I apologize for being a "propagandist" , as you call it.

I suspect that most who come here do not believe they can sway anyone.

My intentions are true
Irritation of the Left is viewed as a measure of success

I think the left is rapidly falling out of love with Obama. He's left them with virtually nothing to run on next year.

I believe more and more former Obama supporters are catching on to his act and are increasingly disgusted with his timidity and avoidance strategies.

In this debt crisis he could simply have advised the Democrat House and Senate to give in to nothing and then invoke the Fourteenth Amendment, which Bill Clinton advised him to do. That would have been an appropriately aggressive solution to the debt problem and would have virtually ensured an Obama victory in 2012. But I don't believe a second term is Obama's primary concern.

Obama is a young man. Whether he leaves Office in 2012 or in 2016 he still has a full life ahead of him. At this time he can look forward to a promising career in the finance industry, or as a partner in a prestigious law firm, or as Dean of a major university. But only if he plays ball with the kingmakers. So it's pretty obvious that Barack Obama carefully avoids stepping on the toes of anyone who can negatively influence his future. It is equally obvious that Obama is in the pocket of the uber-rich. They own him.

FDR was an old man who knew his days were numbered. He had nothing to look forward to after leaving Office but a sickbed, so he was unimpeded in his actions by concerns for the future. And for that reason my first choice in '08 was Mike Gravel, a cranky old man who had contempt for the Washington game and most of its players. I believe he would have taken great pleasure in stomping on a lot of toes.

At this time I am convinced that the only hope for America is for the DNC to put up an alternative to Obama in 2012. I believe Bernie Sanders is the best choice, next best being Eliot Spitzer. If Obama runs for a second term we might as well have a Republican in Office.

I won't vote for him again and I know I'm not alone in that regard.

Much better to be a liberal like some and claim I am "moderate"
Honesty has always been a hard issue for the Left to understand

invested in the "historical" nature of Papa Obama's presidency

Many on the Left may want you call for in the above post,
I doubt if it would really happen.

No, you're not alone. But you can't presume to speak for everybody, either. I disagree with your assessments.
