I'm watching season one on Hulu. Can't get enough of it.

don't forget to use spoilers if you want to discuss later seasons...I've already accidently discovered who won this season while trying to get the gear list.

One of the things I've notice after five survivalists have tapped out is how the lack off firearms for defense really throws the contestants off their game. Have we as outdoorsmen formed an over dependent on firearms?

It's an interesting TV show.
They have had to rescue people who were starving.

It's interesting to watch how the different personalities and characters go about the different tasks like shelter building or going after food. There are shelters from a tarp with sticks to a fabulous little " log cabin" type shelter.

The thing that would take me out is my motto... I ain't eatin that.
